dokult is a video and television production company, born in 2007 in the shelter of the European Centre of Enterprises and Innovation of the Principality of Asturias (CEEI).
We are journalists. As such, we recognize and trust the power of television, film and other media to share information, ideas and emotions, to build bridges between people, between groups, between cultures, which help us to know better ourselves; to know who we are and to find out who we want to be.
We believe that journalists should do their work with honesty, responsibility and independence.
While dokult produces videos of all kinds -commercial, artistic, informative...- we always try to gaze at reality in a clean, uninhibited and free of bias way. And therefore, our favourite audiovisual genre is Documentary.
We think that Documentaries allow the reporter to delve into the issues and give the viewer the possibility of forging a well founded, independent opinion, about the world around him. Documentaries are a spectacle for the senses, a challenge to the intellect and a cure for the soul.
We have been for almost two decades preparing ourselves to face a task that seems to us immensely sensitive, because of the responsibility and the implications involved. We are graduated in Journalism, Film Direction, we collaborate with psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists... we have worked in national press, foreign TV channels...
All to offer a product for which we can be proud. And so we do.
